Notion Pictures was established in 2007 by Adam Wakeling, and since then has been busy establishing itself as a boutique shop for the production, co-production and distribution of programming, for delivery across the traditional and new media spectrum.

Adam Wakeling has over 9 years experience in the international media marketplace dealing with high end music concerts, factual entertainment, documentaries and corporate clients. With this experience comes a healthy contact book of trusted clients across the globe.

Our own productions are slanted towards documentaries dealing with big issues, to both entertain and provoke international audiences. We also provide bespoke services to producers and broadcasters alike, sourcing financing and building co-productions for a variety of genres, across different territories.

Our distribution strategy is set to cater to the needs of the producers that we represent - as such, our growing catalogue is small and select, so as to afford a personal and transparent service.

Notion Pictures has a network of creatives working in web development, graphic design, motion graphics, editing, production and post production, around the world. With core operations based in London and Berlin, we can keep production values to a premium, provide competitive prices and deliver to budget and on time.

Adam Wakeling began his career in television working at the Television Corporation in 2001, where he oversaw the international broadcast placement and media agency collaboration of two world-class TV series backed by Gillette and Toyota. With the advent of TV Corp International, he began developing company formats specifically for the Latin American marketplace. Five years later, he was poached by 3DD Group, one of the world's leading music entertainment producers and distriubutors. Through his five years tenure there, he worked his way through to Head of International Co-Productions, working worldwide to garner some of the largest deals in the company's history. Whilst there, he develped the concept for 'Up in Smoke', the award-winning feature documentary an idea that spurred the formation of Notion Pictures.
